OpusCapita Recognized in the 2018 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Procure-to-Pay Suites

OpusCapita has been recognized in Gartner’s 2018 Magic Quadrant for Procure-to-Pay Suites*. Gartner positioned OpusCapita in the “Niche Players” quadrant. This is the first time that Gartner, the leading research and advisory company, has included OpusCapita in a Magic Quadrant.

The P2P market is growing rapidly

Gartner predicts that “by 2025, over half of the global midmarket and large enterprises will have deployed Procure-to-Pay Suites via a cloud delivery model”. Also, Gartner estimates that “the overall market for P2P software (including both on-premises and cloud/SaaS solutions) reached $2.4 billion in 2017”. Gartner forecasts “it to grow to $3.2 billion by year-end 2020, with a CAGR of 10%.”

The Gartner Magic Quadrant for Procure-to-Pay Suites evaluated 15 global suppliers, including OpusCapita. The vendor evaluation is based on information from many sources, including interviews with reference clients.

“Our customers benefit from our broad, end-to-end approach that reaches beyond the traditional P2P offering. We have strong capabilities in payments and cash management, as well as in catalog management and ordering, which allows us to offer value not only to procurement but also to treasury and accounts payable,” says Patrik Sallner.

We are happy to announce that we have already launched a Customer Success Management initiative, focusing on improving customer experience, and in the last year, we have invested heavily to our customer service and redesigned our software for better usability,” Sallner continues.

Growing market presence

“Although we are not yet widely known outside Europe, our market presence is growing. We have, for instance, a solid customer base in industries where Maintenance, Repair and Operations (MRO) procurement is required, and we are already processing over 100 billion euros in payments in our cash management platform,” Patrik Sallner states.

Gartner listed the top 10 factors that influence the selection of a P2P suite solution, such as functionality and the broader, integrated product offering, ease of use, the ability to tailor the solution to customers’ needs, and the total cost of ownership.

“OpusCapita capabilities are in line with these market demands, which we believe makes us well positioned to become one of the leading players in our field,” Sallner states.
