The challenge
The State Treasury must never run out of money. The State Treasury's dealers needed someone to tell them what funds will be needed and when, and how much money is expected to come in.
The solution
The State Treasury adopted the OpusCapita Liquidity cash flow forecasting system. The result is an up-to-date view of the state's incoming and outgoing cash flows.
OpusCapita applications and solutions in use
In the old days, treasurers could check the day’s cash simply by raising the lid of the state’s coffer. Today, the new forecasting system links data on around 1,000 bank accounts, gathered from the State’s 73 accounting offices and more than 200 users.
