Makita Oy runs a new payment factory
The challenge
Makita Oy wanted a payment factory solution for managing incoming and outgoing payments. This solution had to have a centralised system for payment traffic so that country-specific payment formats and bank connections would not be required in the ERP system.
The solution
Makita's payment traffic in Sweden, Norway, Finland and Estonia goes to banks through OpusCapita Payment Factory in the ISO 20022 XML format. ERP generates payment data in a single format and Payment Factory sends the data to the banks. Makita Oy uses OpusCapita Payment Gateway for Danske Bank, Nordea Corporate eGateway and Pohjola Bank. Payment Factory collects the data from them and imports it into Makita's ERP system in the right format.
