Providing customers with electronic and automated financial
management processes is a key part of Itella Information's core
business. We also like to ensure our customers have access to more
detailed market data on these matters. Conducting surveys is a good
way gathering this information, as the results allow us to help
customers develop better ways of reaching their target groups and
gain greater cost benefits for their business.
Our latest survey looked at the extent of e-invoicing in
consumer billings systems in the Nordic countries and Russia. The
survey revealed that Finnish consumers still have a more
conservative approach to e-invoicing than consumers in neighbouring
countries. The take up of electronic systems is nevertheless
increasing in Finland as elsewhere, for instance with the national
change in direct debiting arrangements, but the most efficient way
of achieving a switch from printed to electronic invoices is
undoubtedly still through stick-and-carrot encouragement by the
billing party. You can read about the survey results and a more
detailed analysis of them in this newsletter. During the spring we
will also be publishing survey results on B2B integration, among
other things.
