SEPA and new products bring growth for OpusCapita

 

Software company OpusCapita achieved a huge 26 per cent growth in 2010. OpusCapita's revenue for the year was almost EUR 17.5 (2009: EUR 13.8 million).

In 2010, OpusCapita was kept busy with SEPA clients and a number of development projects. The purpose of these projects was to increase the efficiency of the organisation and improve customer experiences. OpusCapita also invested in new products which it developed with clients. A client service portal was one of the new services created during the year.

"We were kept extremely busy throughout 2010 and used our resources to the full. Therefore, the excellent result is especially gratifying," says Kari J. Mäkelä, OpusCapita's CEO.

"SEPA made us work really hard but we did gain a lot of expertise from the customer projects we completed. It is now easy to take that experience to markets abroad." Mäkelä anticipates that 2011 will be a breakthrough year for OpusCapita's SaaS services. "The number of our SaaS customers quadrupled in 2010. The Single Euro Payments Area (SEPA) project is proceeding and developing and the remaining fourth generation solutions will be launched. Our realistic aim is to attain 15 per cent growth in 2011."
